## My Review
One of the classics for people working in community health/development. The underlying thesis of the book is on the kind of praxis (action and reflection) needed to be able to engage fairly and insightfully in community development work. The heart of the book is the few chapters in the middle (3 and 4 I think). The initial chapters are rather long-winding and repetitive in parts. Writing style was a bit laborious for me, but that is possibly because of the translation to English. Writing style apart, the central message of the book cannot be overstressed, which I have captured in my blog here: http://www.daktre.com/2018/06/sciencing-up-participation-and-participationing-science/<br/>
