Only the first chapter is historically inclined while the others are celebrating his life and his message. Some chapters are rather plain deification of his persona. Some of the archival photographs are gripping. Wish the book could have been a bit more “political” about the events that led to the Tibetan exile. B&w photos are very well presented.
